A horse fence should be clearly visible, sturdy and suited to the horse, the area and its intended use. Different solutions are available for permanent paddocks, as well as for paddocks or mobile and seasonally used pasture areas. With electric fences, a reliable power supply is also crucial.
Fritz Göbel offers a range of compatible components for installation: electric fence energisers, posts, wire and insulators, as well as horse netting and suitable accessories. Depending on the fencing system, this allows for different requirements regarding fence height, the number of wire strands and the materials used to be taken into account.
Well looked after all year round
Depending on the horse’s living conditions, the time of year and its use, coat care and clipping form part of regular horse care. For horse clipping, Fritz Göbel offers clippers from its own GRT X-Series as well as models from other established manufacturers. Suitable clipping blades and accessories round off the range to meet a variety of clipping requirements.
In addition, there are products for coat, skin and hoof care, as well as for protection against insects. This means horse owners can find suitable solutions for both regular care and seasonal requirements.
Göbel offers specialised horse fencing in various heights. The Euro horse fencing features 120 cm high posts and a 90 cm high mesh; the Mustang horse fencing is available in heights of 145 cm and 170 cm, amongst others. The appropriate height should be chosen based on the size and behaviour of the horses, as well as the intended use of the fencing system.
Due to its larger surface area, broadband fencing is particularly visible and is therefore an obvious solution for horse paddocks. Göbel offers broadband fencing in various widths, as well as stranded wire and electric rope. Depending on the installation, stranded wire and rope can also be used. In addition to visibility, conductivity, fence length and the overall design of the fencing system are particularly important.
Göbel stocks specialised horse nets. The Euro horse net, for example, is 30.5 metres long and features four horizontal strands as well as rigid vertical struts designed to ensure the safety of horses. In addition, there are Mustang horse nets available in various heights and designs.
If a 230 V mains connection is available, mains-powered units are an option. For areas without a mains connection, Göbel also offers battery-powered, rechargeable and other suitable mobile solutions. The power required depends primarily on the length of the fence, the vegetation and the layout of the system. Some Göbel devices are specifically recommended for horse paddocks and rotational grazing.
Fritz Göbel offers a range of cordless clippers for horse grooming as part of the GRT X-Series. The compact GRT X-ONE Horse is suitable for both detailed work and a full horse clip, and is particularly lightweight at 420 g. For professional use, the GRT X-PRO Horse is a more powerful model with three speed settings. A range of GRT horse clipper blades is also available. This allows you to choose the clipper that best suits your specific application and requirements.
Göbel offers feeding troughs and mangers for a variety of applications. These include plastic troughs in various sizes, wall-mounted and corner troughs, as well as mangers for shows and transport. An 11.5-litre plastic trough, for example, is specifically designed for foals; there are versions available for hanging up in the stable or during transport.
