Anti-freeze heating cable with thermostat for water pipes
Fritz Göbel’s anti-freeze heating cables are suitable, amongst other things, for exposed water pipes as well as oil and diesel pipes in stables, farm buildings and outdoor areas. The 230 V heating cables feature a built-in thermostat: as the temperature drops, the heating cable switches on automatically from +3 °C and switches off again when the temperature rises to 13 °C. This protects water pipes from frost down to −40 °C.
An anti-freeze heating cable is fitted along the pipework at risk of freezing and heats it when temperatures are low. This is particularly relevant, for example, for exposed pipework in stables, farm buildings and outdoor areas. Fritz Göbel’s heating cables feature an integrated thermostat: as the temperature drops, they switch on automatically at +3 °C and switch off again when the temperature rises to 13 °C.
Fritz Göbel’s heating cables, for example, are designed for exposed water pipes as well as oil and diesel pipes. When used correctly, they protect water pipes from freezing at temperatures as low as −40 °C.
Fritz Göbel’s anti-freeze heating cables feature an integrated thermostat that controls the system based on temperature. As temperatures fall, the heating cable switches on automatically at +3 °C. When the temperature rises again, it switches off at 13 °C. This ensures that the heating cable only operates when low temperatures
Fritz Göbel’s gutter heating cables are completely waterproof and comply with protection class IP8 in accordance with DIN EN 60529. They are specifically designed for use in gutters and downpipes, where they prevent the build-up of snow and ice. The information regarding watertightness applies specifically to the gutter heating cables and should not be generalised to include frost protection heating cables for pipework.
Heating cables can be used wherever pipes or gutters at risk of freezing need to be protected – for example, in stables, farm buildings and outbuildings, as well as in the outdoor areas of agricultural holdings. The choice of heating cable depends on the application, the pipe or gutter in question, and the required length.
Gutter heating cables prevent snow and ice from forming and can therefore help to prevent downpipes from bursting and dangerous icicles from forming. Fritz Göbel offers waterproof 230 V heating cables in various lengths for this purpose.
