Dog fences for different types of property and requirements
Fritz Göbel offers a range of options for restricting dogs’ movement. As well as traditional fencing solutions, the range includes PetSafe containment systems with buried boundary wires and wireless dog fences. Which system is suitable depends, amongst other things, on the property, the desired area and the dog in question.
Cat nets and electronic fencing systems
The type of boundary also differs: cat nets form a visible physical barrier, whilst PetSafe’s electronic systems define a specific area using a transmitter or boundary wire and a compatible receiver collar. As a result, the range offers different approaches to keeping dogs and cats safe.
Fritz Göbel offers a range of solutions for creating fenced-off areas for dogs. These include traditional fencing solutions as well as PetSafe’s invisible dog fences. The PetSafe systems are available in both versions with a buried boundary wire and wireless systems.
With an invisible dog fence, the desired boundary is defined electronically. In the case of wired PetSafe systems, this is achieved via a laid antenna cable and a receiver collar. If the dog approaches the defined boundary, the system reacts according to its settings. The current PetSafe systems differ, amongst other things, in terms of the intended dog size, adjustment options and the areas they can cover.
A wireless PetSafe system uses a radio signal to create a circular boundary area without the need to lay a boundary wire. In wired systems, on the other hand, the desired area is defined by an aerial cable. This means the systems differ, in particular, in terms of installation and the possible layout of the restricted area.
Fritz Göbel offers cat nets for visibly demarcating and securing areas for cats. Unlike the electronic PetSafe systems, they act as a physical barrier and are therefore suitable for different requirements and situations.
